ClearDip Privacy Policy
ClearDip is a pool and spa water test log by ClearVoid Studios. It is free to try, with an optional one-time unlock through Google Play. There are no ads and no subscriptions.
Data we process
- Test readings, maintenance notes, pool/spa settings, and reminders preferences stay on your device. We do not require an account.
- ClearDip does not upload your log data to ClearVoid Studios or ClearDip servers.
- If you use Export, ClearDip prepares a text summary on your device and opens the Android share sheet. We do not receive what you share or with whom.
- Volume estimator and dose calculators run on your device from numbers you enter. Results are estimates only (not professional advice).
- More → About shows the app version and build number on your device only (for support). That information is not sent to ClearVoid Studios automatically.
- If you use Share on the More screen (“Tell your friends!â€), the App may check whether Facebook, Instagram, or X are installed so it can offer those buttons. That check stays on your device. When you tap a network, the App opens that app with a prefilled message (including a Google Play link). We do not post on your behalf and do not receive what you send or publish.
Permissions
- Notifications — optional, for local test reminders when that feature is enabled. Reminders are scheduled on your device; we do not use them to collect data.
