Fries to Fine Dining Privacy Policy
Fries to Fine Dining is a restaurant management game by ClearVoid Studios. The whole game is free to play and supported by ads. Optional purchases through Google Play remove the full-screen ads, add extras such as room themes, or add coins, boosts, promo flyers, and extra-time charges that are used up in play. There are no subscriptions.
Delete your data
Fries to Fine Dining has no account, and ClearVoid Studios does not keep a copy of your game. You can remove what exists as follows.
- Save on your phone: uninstall Fries to Fine Dining. That removes the restaurant save and settings from the device. If you reinstall, Google Play can restore one-time purchases you already bought.
- Cloud save: if you used Google Play Games, delete this game’s Play Games data from the Google Play Games app (your profile, then Settings) or from your Google Account’s Data & privacy page. That removes the cloud copy of the save and the Play Games player ID Google holds for this game. ClearVoid Studios cannot see that copy, so we cannot delete it for you.
- Ads: Google, not ClearVoid Studios, holds the advertising ID, approximate location, and ad-interaction data used to show ads. Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings, under Privacy and then Ads. You can also review ad personalization at Google’s ad settings. In the game, Settings → Privacy choices changes the consent choice where that form is shown.
- A problem email: if you used Report a problem, email support@clearvoidstudios.com and ask us to delete that message. We delete the email and our reply. We have no other copy of your information.
- What stays with Google: Google Play keeps the record of purchases on your Google account. ClearVoid Studios never receives your payment details and cannot delete Google’s record. Android backup, if you turned it on, is also in your Google account until you remove it there.
Data we process
- Your game stays on your device. Your restaurant, money, coins, staff, progress, daily goals, login calendar, and settings are saved on your phone. The game has no account of its own, and ClearVoid Studios has no game servers, so we never receive your save.
- Cloud save (Google Play Games): the first time you open the game, and on later launches if you are not signed in, the game asks you to sign in to Google Play Games. If you do, later launches sign in on their own and the game keeps a copy of your save in your Google account through Play Games Saved Games. It is uploaded when a game day closes and when you leave the app, so you can carry your restaurant to a new phone; when the cloud copy is further along than the game on your phone, the game asks which one to keep. Google receives your save and your Play Games player ID to do this, under Google’s Privacy Policy. ClearVoid Studios can’t see your save or your Google account. You can sign out of Play Games or delete the game’s Play Games data from the Google Play Games app or your Google Account settings at any time. If you don’t use Play Games, your save stays on your phone only.
- Android backup: if you have turned on backup for your Google account, Android may include the game’s save in your device backup and restore it on a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under your account; ClearVoid Studios can’t see it.
- Daily features: the login calendar, the daily promo flyers, holiday weeks, and the welcome-back gift check your phone’s date (to see whether you have played today, which holiday it is, or how long you’ve been away). The date isn’t sent anywhere.
- Ads (Google AdMob): the game shows one full-screen ad on day 3 and then every third closing unless you buy Remove Ads, and skips the next one if you watched a bonus ad that game day or any of the three game days before (the game remembers that day on your phone only). It also offers optional ads you choose to watch for a bonus (for example doubling a day’s tips); these stay available after Remove Ads. To serve, measure, and limit ads and to prevent fraud, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK collects information such as your device’s advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google may use this for personalized ads where the law and your choices allow. Ads are limited to content suitable for teens. Where consent is required (for example in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and some US states), the game asks before showing ads using Google’s consent tool, and you can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy choices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings. Your game save is never shared with ad providers, and ClearVoid Studios does not receive the information the ads SDK collects. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- Updates: each time the game opens, it asks Google Play whether a newer version is available. If one is, Google Play shows its own update screen. ClearVoid Studios doesn’t receive anything from that check. A copy that wasn’t installed from Google Play won’t see it.
- Purchases: the shop’s items are sold and verified by Google Play Billing: one-time purchases (Remove Ads, the starter bundle, the full decor pack, and the room themes) and coin packs, boosts, flyer packs, and extra-time packs, which add coins and game money (or, for a boost, multiply the coins and money you earn for a few days; for a flyer pack, add promo flyers; for an extra-time pack, add charges that make customers wait longer for a minute) to your current game and are used up once added. Room themes, decor looks, and crew uniforms can also be bought with in-game coins; that never leaves your phone. Google handles payment details; the game only learns what was bought so it can turn the full-screen ads off or add the item to your game. One-time purchases are checked with Google Play again at each launch so they come back after a reinstall or on a new phone. Which items you own, and the order numbers of coin packs, boosts, flyer packs, and extra-time packs already added (so none is added twice), are kept on your device and in your save (including its Play Games cloud copy, if you use it).
- Game engine: the game is built with Unity. The Unity engine may send basic, non-identifying device information (such as phone model, Android version, and graphics hardware) to Unity Technologies to help improve the engine.
- Settings shows the game’s version on your device only. Links to this policy and the Terms of Use open in your browser. Your language choice is a setting saved on your phone.
- Rating prompt: after a good day (from day 5, at most twice), the game may ask whether you’d like to rate it. “Rate the game” just opens the game’s Google Play page; the game doesn’t learn whether or how you rated it, and only keeps on your phone when it last asked.
- Report a problem: this button in Settings opens your own email app with a message to support@clearvoidstudios.com, filled in with the game’s version, your phone model, Android version, the game’s language, and your game day and prestige level, to help us find the bug. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself, and you can edit or delete any of it first. If you do, we receive your email address and what’s in the message, and use them only to look into the problem and reply to you.
Permissions
- The game does not ask for any runtime permissions (no camera, location, contacts, storage, microphone, or notifications).
- Internet / network state are used to load ads, by Google Play Billing to check and restore purchases, by Google Play Games for cloud save, and to ask Google Play if a newer version of the game is available. Offline, the game plays normally without ads, skips the update check, and catches up the cloud copy later.
- Advertising ID is used by the ads SDK as described above.
Children
Fries to Fine Dining is meant for players 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
