Scoreboards come in every font, color, and glare. If SpareLedger misreads a game from your
photo, fix the frames and send us a MisRead report. It shows what the reader
saw next to what you corrected, so we can teach it to get the next one right.

Attaching the scoreboard photo is off unless you turn it on. A photo can show other bowlers’ names, so only include it if you’re comfortable sharing that.

Does SpareLedger have ads?
No. SpareLedger has no ads, free or unlocked.
Is SpareLedger a subscription?
No. You can score your first 3 games free. A one-time unlock through Google Play adds unlimited games, your full game history, historical stats and trends, per-house breakdowns, and PDF or CSV export. No ads and no subscriptions.
Can I export my bowling scores?
Yes, with the unlock. SpareLedger creates a printable PDF with your summary stats, handicap, per-house breakdown, and every game frame by frame, or a CSV for spreadsheets. Save it, print it, or send it to your league secretary.
What if a scoreboard photo is read wrong?
Fix the frames before you save. You can then send an optional MisRead report from your own email app so we can improve score reading. Attaching the photo is off unless you turn it on, and nothing is sent until you press Send.
Do I need an account or a league?
No. There is no sign-up and no league setup. Log any game you bowl, and your scores are stored on your phone.
How is handicap calculated?
You set the base score and percentage in Settings. SpareLedger computes handicap as (base minus your average) times the percentage, never below zero.
Are my scores uploaded anywhere?
No. SpareLedger does not upload your games to ClearVoid Studios servers. Everything stays on your phone.
If I get a new phone, do I pay again?
No. Use Restore purchases in Settings with the same Google account to restore your unlock.
